We just got back from Nashville. I totally fell in love with the city, and can see why so many of my NOLA favorites are starting to make the move to Tennessee.
One of my favorite things was all the greenery. I swear, there was grass to wiggle in every three blocks. Which is amazing when you’re somewhere over the weekend and have an hour+ wait to get in to dinner. One of my favorite neighborhoods was 12 South (where Reese Witherspoon has her store) and the first time my family was there, we stumbled upon this adorable pumpkin patch.
We ended up back in the 12 South neighborhood on Sunday. Pro tip: Nearly every spot on Broadway is 21+. Even at lunchtime on a weekend. Whatever. Once we finally parked and found where we wanted to eat (we went with Flipside, which I would totally recommend), we discovered a 60 minute wait. Which is what happens at brunch time with drink specials.
Clearly, Theodore and I just had to walk the block and a half to visit the pumpkin patch again. Theodore climbed all over the giant pumpkins, while I watched the girls and their Instagram boyfriends take all the pictures they could.
