Meredith on a Monday
Did anyone else squeal in excitement when they heard Kylie Jenner had her baby? And maybe cried when they watched the video she posted? Twice? I’m not embarrassed by it at all. I think it’s absolutely great that she was able to take a step back and just enjoy her pregnancy.
On Saturday, I was finally able to get out of the house an get my hair lightened another level. It probably would have been a touch more enjoyable if I had been allowed to sleep more than 90 minutes the night before(Theodore can be a tyrant), but whatever, I look great. I don’t know about you, but I’m working on that Khloe Kardashian style glow up in 2018.
Afterwards, I totally wandered around Target. I managed to walk out with only the essentials, and I’m a little shocked at myself. Dog food, toilet paper, and baby wipes. An maybe one heart shaped Reeses. Because balance. And I knew I didn’t have to share. There were so many things I wanted! I’m really feeling this Wrap Top. I think it would look super cute with both jeans and cutoffs, which is pretty much how I decide if a top is worth the purchase. The shoe game was fire too, but luckily 11s in store go fast, so I couldn’t be tempted to walk out with any.
I have a vision board hanging up in my room and at least 1/3 of the space is dedicated to dreams about Theodore’s and my future home. I think this Wall Mounted Easel will have to have it’s own spot in a future hallway or kitchen. Can you imagine the fun that kids and adults could have with that during a party?
I’ve already mentioned working on a glow up and my vision board. Both of these things are definite signs that I’m a millennial. I just read the article about how to Reinvent Your Life in 2018 and think I’m following along pretty well. Of course, it’s only February, but right now I’m confident I can keep things up. Of course, when I looked at my Fit and Thick app to see what today’s workout was, I cringed. I’m maybe hoping Theodore passes out soon, so that we can go upstairs and cuddle, and I can avoid the workout for a couple more hours.
I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of loving all the hate Instagram Influencers are currently getting. And their responses? I die. Y’all, none of us are sitting around thinking you have a perfect life. We’re just over you including a likeittoknowit link or discount code for a watch in every. single. post. Not every moment you choose to share has to be monetized. Honestly, I think people are overloaded and sick with always having someone try to sell them something at every turn. It definitely takes the social out of the social media. But this article on just how badly some bloggers and influencers are doing on letting the followers know that a post is sponsored? eish. Come on, y’all. Do better. Not just for your followers, but so you don’t get nailed by the FCC.
I don’t know how things are in your parts weather wise, but we are supposed to get between 5 and 8 inches of snow today. Gross. They’re even closing the schools at 11:25, so good luck to all of those parents.
Theodore is showing no signs of slowing down, so I am off to play and change us out of pajamas. Looks like I’ll have to be doing that workout sooner than I wanted.
